What counts as a conversation?
A conversation is a single merchant-shopper chat session, regardless of how many messages are exchanged. Idle sessions expire after 30 minutes and are counted once.
What happens if I exceed my monthly limit?
You'll see an in-dashboard notice around 80% usage and again at 100%. The widget keeps working; overages are billed at the end of the cycle at $0.05 per extra conversation on Growth, $0.03 on Pro. Scale has no cap.
Can I switch plans mid-cycle?
Yes. Upgrades are prorated immediately. Downgrades take effect at the next billing cycle; your current plan's features stay active until then.
How is billing handled?
Through the Shopify Billing API. Charges appear on your regular Shopify invoice and are approved by you from the Shopify admin before anything is charged.
Do you offer discounts for non-profits or early-stage brands?
